Amy Kenefick Moore

Amy Kenefick Moore is an Associate Professor, School of Nursing, University of Connecticut. She has extensive clinical practice experience and is board-certified as a Certified Nurse Midwife (AMCB), a Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC), an Advanced Practice Holistic Nurse (AHNCC) and a Health and Wellness Nurse Coach (AHNCC). She has taught at the University of Connecticut since 1999.
She graduated from the University of Massachusetts (BA, Ph.D.), Cornell University (BSN), the University of Kentucky (MSN), Frontier University (certificates in midwifery and family nursing) and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Yale’s Center for Excellence in Chronic Illness Care. She has received awards for clinical practice and her research in geriatrics and cancer. Her current research concerns the use of storytelling as a teaching method.
